Who am I?
Drinking nectar from the
Cardinal Flower Lobelia cardinalis
we spy the
Little Sulphur Butterfly Eurema lisa.
This insect was spotted along the riverbank of the Silver River in Ocala, Florida.

Cardinal Red is the color of this lovely flower that blooms in the summer.
But beware, red in nature is a warning...
Red things are usually poisonous (or poison mimics)
Don't take a chance with red in nature - assume it is toxic.
The Cardinal Flower is one such plant - poisonous if eaten.
