Sherry Svekis
Archaeologist & Heritage Interpreter

Sherry has extensive educational outreach experience with both youth and adult audiences. With degrees in anthropology and history, she is a leader in both local and statewide archaeological, historical, and preservation organizations. Sherry is currently working with the New College of Florida Public Archaeology Laboratory and is President of the Time Sifters Archaeology group and The Trail of Florida's Indian Heritage.
Sherry designed Around the Bend’s archaeology curriculum to encourage young people to value preservation and stewardship and to think about why the past matters.
