What is the Felts Audubon Preserve?
Over 100 species have been seen on the property!

Otis Felts left this 30-acre parcel to the Manatee County Audubon Society when he passed away in 2002.  His dream was that it would never be developed.  Now their dream is to use the property as an environmental educational center for people of all ages.

Located in Palmetto at the corner of 24th Avenue East and Experimental Farm Road

Note: There is no water or sewer onsite. Plenty of water will be available for drinking and hand washing. 2 Port-o-lets. Camp will be held outdoors in a large tent. Safe, fun and natural!
