A tractor will pull up to 2 open air trailers that have been fitted with a bowed canvas cover and open sides, much like the covered wagons of the 1800's that were used by Florida's pioneer settlers. These trailers will be fitted with comfortable seats and a public address system so everyone can enjoy the interpretation of the expert guides from Around the Bend Nature Tours
At this time the Prairie Schooner system is being built by the Manatee County Fleet Services with expected delivery date of mid 2007
